Canyon has launched the third generation of its Lux Trail, after a significant overhaul that aims to bolster the bike’s capabilities. The Lux Trail first launched in 2022, aimed at filling the then-in-vogue downcountry gap in Canyon’s range. The riders’ brief was simple: a lightweight yet capable bike that was fun on the downs and fast on the ups.

Tearing up the downcountry brief has refocused the Canyon. The all-new Lux Trail is no longer an overreaching XC bike, but does it deserve its Trail moniker? Graham logged some fun miles on the new Canyon Lux Trail to find out.
