It’s fair to say that The Callisto Protocol didn’t launch in the best state. It failed to deliver on its promising trailer and worst still, was marred by a slew of technical issues and a flawed combat system. Both critics and players described it as being uninspired and it fell well short of its sales target.
Developer Striking Distance would spend the next six months trying to course correct, fixing bugs, improving core gameplay systems and adding new content. So, have these changes made it a better game and most importantly is it worth it now?
This Re-review covers the various patches, across all platforms, the free content it received as well as all of the paid DLC including the Final Transmission.

Horizon Chase 2 is an arcade racer inspired by super scaler races like outrun. This is a sequel to the original horizon chase and horizon chase turbo, which I covered a couple of years back. This sequel has a number of new tricks up its sleeve, but chief among them is online multiplayer with cross play, letting you play with all other platforms.
New features aside, the format and racing has stayed true to the original but there are a couple of changes that separate it from the first game. So while it feels very familiar, this isn’t simply a copy and paste job with a few extra bells and whistles.
I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve played so far, so let me explain why.
