What was life like for a soldier at the Battle of Waterloo?
Join Luke Tomes, Louee Dessent, James Rogers and Dan Snow as they explore what the battlefield experience was like for soldiers on June 18, 1815 as the Duke of Wellington faced down Napoleon Bonaparte for the last major battle of the Napoleonic Wars.
Whilst Luke and Louee join the Coldstream Guards and 95th Rifles to explore the role of infantry and riflemen in Wellington's army at the battle, James and Dan visit archaeological digs at the battle site where new, unearthed evidence shows how many on the ground and on horseback met a tragic end that day.
