After more than 30 years of rehabilitating dogs and nearly 20 years on television, I faced a case that challenged everything I thought I knew. Brunello was blind, deaf, living with neurological issues, and displayed severe aggression toward everyday objects. It wasn't just a rehabilitation, it was a test of patience, creativity, faith, and perseverance.
This experience reminded me that the greatest growth often comes from the challenges we don't know how to solve. Sometimes, when experience isn't enough, we must rely on instinct, trust the process, and never give up on the dog in front of us.
Después de más de 30 años rehabilitando perros y casi 20 años en la televisión, me enfrenté a un caso que desafió todo lo que creía saber. Brunello era ciego, sordo, vivía con problemas neurológicos y mostraba una fuerte agresividad hacia los objetos cotidianos. No fue simplemente una rehabilitación, fue una prueba de paciencia, creatividad, fe y perseverancia.
Esta experiencia me recordó que el mayor crecimiento proviene de los desafíos que no sabemos cómo resolver. A veces, cuando la experiencia no es suficiente, debemos confiar en el instinto, confiar en el proceso y nunca rendirnos con el perro que tenemos enfrente.
