Dark Envoy is an interestingly crafted RPG melding several elements like tough choices and skill-based combat to create a CRPG-adjacent experience. It's got a story with some well-written characters and unexpected turns, and a nuanced take on a conflict in an unfolding world. The combat helps to keep things going with a nicely skillful and varied real-time tactical system with tons of skills and strategies to employ. Round it off with pretty nice voice acting for most of the characters and some lovely music and you get a worthwhile indie RPG with a solid 25-30 hour run time.
