Banishers is an investigative RPG set in the colonies in 1695 that gives me vibes of The Witcher 1. Gather clues and come to conclusions to see who is haunted and why, battle some nasty specters, and decide how best to solve the haunting for good. The combat is nice with the character-switching mechanic, but the game is at its best when investigating and solving hauntings for the cursed people of New England. Pretty solid, it opens up and gets better as it goes.
