You don't have to pick all the notes! Sometimes it sounds better when you don't. The ebb and flow of muted notes, picked notes and legato notes makes @BrandonEllisGtr 's "signature" version of this so cool to listen to. In the interview we do look at the pure alternate version, in both directions, upstroke and downstroke, and I apologize for making him do all that! But this one has tons of character.
