The Boys: Trigger Warning had everything going for it. A beloved IP, voice talent from the show, and a premise tailor-made for VR. But somewhere between the lifeless combat, the copy-paste environments, and the hacking minigames that feel ripped from 1984, Arvore's adaptation squanders nearly all of it. The story works, the Armstrongs are genuinely entertaining, and the voice cast delivers. Everything else? Diabolically dull. Not even Compound V can fix that.
