High in the rugged peaks of Ladakh, a young boy is identified as the rebirth of a legendary Tibetan lama. Separated from his ancestral home by exile, he and his devoted elderly guardian set out on an arduous journey across the Indian landscape, racing against time to reclaim his sacred seat in Tibet.
