I made this video for the AWA Accolades 2023 AMV contest, unaware that there would be an ACTUAL BATTLEBOT THERE. I got to meet the crew of Overhaul and they were super chill and cool. When I told them I'd made a Battlebots AMV they seemed pretty happy. I hope they get to see the video now, since it didn't make finals for the contest.

My favorite ideas are ones I get before Ive even watched the source. Id only seen a few clips of Lego Monkie Kid, and then @kai_keda_amvs showed me her videos. The morning after I saw her videos, I woke up with this idea in my head. I immediately asked her to provide me with the episodes (THANK YOU!) and set about watching the whole show and BOY was it a wild ride, and just as perfect to use with this trailer as Id hoped it would be.

This was a collab event on the Bentovid Discord where duo partners were randomly assigned. The task was to edit a video with the theme Opposites. Neko and I had been thinking about collaborating for a while and I was overjoyed when we randomly got put together for this event.
