In late November 2024, we returned to The Boston Metro Hi-Railers for their 2nd & last open house of the year & this time everything is just in time for Thanksgiving & Christmas. There was even some more progress on scenery for the layout. There was even lots & lots of different types of trains in operation like a North Pole Central Christmas freight train, The Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter, a couple of Amtrak trains from different eras, Thomas The Tank Engine, a Redbird subway train from NYC, a Lionel MPC ere Blue Comet set, a postwar inspired Santa Fe F3s pulling The Super Chief, The California Zephyr with Western Pacific F-units & lots more. So sit back & enjoy the sights & sounds of these O gauge trains putting on a great holiday themed-show that will make you go oooh & aaah. Enjoy & Merry Christmas!!
