Tag Directions/Parameters:
For this tag, make a video in which you present your Top Ten books in ranked order (be they your favorites, your choice of best books, the books most influential to you, etc). For purposes of this project, the rankings will have points assigned them (i.e. a #1 ranking carries more weight in the tallying than a #8 or #10 ranking). I'll keep track of the Booktuber participation in a spreadsheet of some devising and will update the community quarterly on what our collective Top Ten looks like.
Kinds of books eligible for your list:
- Individual works of fiction (e.g. the novel A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens or the short story collection The Hill Bachelors by William Trevor)
- Individual plays (e.g. The Crucible by Arthur Miller)
- Individual works of non-fiction (e.g. the memoir Girl Meets God by Lauren Winner)
- Individual books of poetry (e.g. the volume My Name is William Tell by William Stafford)
- Individual books of the Bible (e.g. the Gospel of John or the Book of Psalms)
- Series of books or plays are eligible to be counted as a single title (e.g. the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling or the Angels in America duo of plays by Tony Kushner)
Books that are ineligible for your list:
- the Bible in its entirety (owing to its being a library of books)
- the Collected Works of a given writer (you may not choose, for instance, the collected works of William Shakespeare as a single book)
