I encourage you to try something more robust or to a deeper analysis on your own if you know how. If you want to run the results for yourself, here is the Github repository:

You will need to extract the .tar.gz files and avoid directory duplication for the Jupyter Notebook to work correctly.

(If you have a Python virtual environment installed just type in pip3 install jupyter.)

The documents must be one directory beneath the root directory you run the project from
bofm.ipynb must be in the project's root directory.


And I did not expect the results of all the Polls to give the more likely authorship to Smith. If it had been multiple authors, I would expect around a 50% chance of each poll going to Poe, and a 50% chance of it going to Smith. If I had gotten 80% or higher I would say sole authorship was likely. I got 100% percent of the votes to show that the Book of Mormon writing was closer to Smth's than Poes, and this was not what i thought would happen.
