Lisa in Bookland | The Book Cover Book Tag - Original @lisainbookland | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
I love thinking about book covers, and therefore I created this original tag The Book Cover Tag so I can hear about other people’s opinions! Let the arguments begin 😊
PROMPTS
1. Books with paintings (can also interpret as photos) on the cover – 3 optional sub-prompts
(a) Paintings which are perfect for the book (but weren’t commissioned especially)
(b) Paintings which you really like but aren’t perfect for the book for some reason
(c) Paintings which were commissioned especially for the book
2. TV/film tie-in covers (If you hate all of these give your least favourite!)
3. Nicest spine
4. Non-fiction covers
5. Least favourite covers (of any kind)
6. Covers that you like in a weird way
7. ‘Modern style’/abstract covers – take this to mean anything you like!
8. Covers that you only understand after reading the book
9. Cover buys
