Many on you on YouTube may remember the infamous upload of the ride which contained audio of "Bob and Doug McKenzie" riding Bear-y Tales. Well, if you thought it was the actual Canadian duo (played by Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas) appearing in the ride. You'd be surprised that it is indeed fans of their's trying to replicate the iconic duo's cadence on the Bear-y Tales ride in June of 1986.
When Extinct Attractions got ahold of this audio recording as part of their Knott's Bear-y Tales dvd release. They stole the audio and pitched it lower to avoid giving credit to the original recorder. When I had my old YouTube channel from the time. I uploaded the ride through with this live recording at the time since it was attached to one of the ride-throughs that is on this channel. So for years I thought it was the actual duo riding the ride only to then find out it was fans of their's doing this lol.
We know who one of the guys that did this recording is. But we cannot share his name for embarrassment sake. He doesn't want his name out there on it hahahaha. So we'll just call him Kikkoman. We did try to get him to reprise his role on the current Bear-y Tales but he refused out of embarrassment.
