For 50 years, the BMW Art Car Collection has brought together art, design, technology, and the spirit of driving.
Now, for the first time, all 20 BMW Art Cars are reunited in one place at BMW Welt, celebrating five decades of “rolling sculptures” and the artists who have shaped the collection.
From Alexander Calder’s BMW 3.0 CSL in 1975 to Julie Mehretu’s BMW M Hybrid V8, we take a journey through the BMW Art Car Collection, revisiting five decades of bold ideas, pioneering artists, and iconic cars.
You can check out all 20 BMW Art Cars together at BMW Welt, as part of the exhibition “BMW ART CARS – 20 ARTISTS, 50 YEARS OF INNOVATION. REUNITED AT BMW WELT”, from 29 July to 31 August 2026.
