Dr. D-Flo was able to control his addressable LEDs with a computer, which provided the ultimate customization. However, the python interface was not user-friendly or social. An IR remote control or app on a tablet to control the LEDs was just ... blahhh. Dr. D-Flo wanted an LED controller with presence. A controller that engaged the user and was as bright as the LEDs it handled. The box presented in this video was the third iteration. Each iteration grew in size and gained more buttons. The black box has 1 one large arcade button, 4 momentary, 4 latching, 4 military and 4 rocker switches. The box controls the computer through Bluetooth, which in turn controls the LEDs. There are many other applications for the box!
