There are over 50 unique Legendary items to collect, and while most are found through missions and exploration, there are a few ways to get Legendary gear without knowing a specific location.
Chests have a small random chance to contain Legendary gear, so you can reload saves to try farming them, although the odds are very low. The easier method is checking the 5 vendors in Svatau City, who can randomly stock Legendary weapons and armor you don't already own.
