Obsession is the latest indie horror taking the movie world by storm. On a budget of just $750,000, it was picked up by Focus Features for a reported $15 million and given a full theatrical release. Already surpassing $20 million worldwide and scoring rave reviews from critics and audiences alike, writer/director Curry Barker, originally a sketch comedy YouTuber, is quickly making a name for himself. Though I was a few days late seeing it, I was no less impressed and have been unable to get it off my mind ever since. With so many thoughts crammed in my skull, I just HAVE to get them out.
