Dr John D. | The Black Swan – An observation and its implications for a globe model. @drjohnd.9508 | Uploaded August 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
This video presents two observations taken using a P900 from Worthing Beach (UK) on Thursday 6th August 2020.

These videos can be seen separately on YouTube:

The implications of these observations for a globe Earth model are discussed, as is the significance of the antecedent for an inferior and superior mirage .

My most sincere thanks to Karen B. for her help and patience in the production of this video.

If you are taking the ray diagram challenge:
1) Follow the conditions set - you can't make up your own Laws of light.
2) Don't make up scenarios that result in images that cannot be supported by real life observations.
3) The environmental conditions for mirages etc. are known, so using imaginary and fanciful conditions will not be accepted.
I will not reply to silliness and timewasters.
