I Got Mine - The Black Keys
A slightly different rendition of 'I Got Mine' by The Black Keys. Although I do pay homage to the original as a bridge portion of the song. I hope you enjoy, but either way, leave a comment!
Don't think I changed the chords of the song all that much. Mainly E, A, B7, a D7 snuck in at last bit of chorus phrase. Although I do tune my guitars down a half-step to E flat. Just makes things a bit easier for my vocal range.
Doing music covers is fun and so is making silly videos, hence the oddity you are witnessing. Think of it this way, I could just record the song and post it with a picture, but this way at least I get to have fun with the green screen and learn more on the video editing side, and there's something interesting to watch while you listen, well, something weird to watch while you listen. :)
Several things I'm still and will continue to work on getting better at is playing the drums and lead guitar work. And probably the singing too. And looking better on camera. I know I look ridiculous. Enjoy anyway! Oh and I could use some pointers on playing bass too.
I record, mix, and master the audio in Digital Performer 8. Video is edited in Final Cut Pro X, used GoPro camera. Also, I do use Motion 5 at times for some composite work and effects. The acoustic I used for this recording is a Sigma by Martin, the electric a Schecter Ultra III, and bass a Peavey. Drums are older set of Pearl. They have all been great to play on.
