Arrow Video bring The Birthday to 4K Ultra HD, giving this long-overlooked cult film the premium release it has waited more than two decades for.
In this review we take a close look at the packaging, picture quality, Dolby Vision presentation, audio and special features included in Arrow’s new release.
The film arrives in a standard Amaray case with slipcover and includes a collector’s booklet detailing the film’s fascinating 22-year journey from production to its long overdue wide release. Also included is reversible artwork with two cover options to choose from.
The film itself has been transferred from the original 35mm negative and is presented in its original 2.39:1 aspect ratio with a Dolby Vision colour grade.
