The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake of the original The Binding of Isaac. It is produced
and developed by Nicalis, and designed by Edmund McMillen. Nicalis is developing it for the PlayStation 4,
PlayStation Vita, and Steam. Nicalis was in talks with Microsoft and Nintendo relating to the possibility of a
release for their consoles. An iOS version of the game was a possibility "if it's not garbage." McMillen expressed an
interest in seeing it released for the Nintendo 3DS. The game will feature local two-player co-op but not
online co-op to avoid delays. The soundtrack will be composed by Matthias Bossi and Jon Evans, and features
remixes of music from the original game. The graphics will be changed to a 16-bit style due to McMillen's
distaste for the original's art style. A poll was conducted by McMillen to gauge interest by fans of which
art style they preferred. It will include all of the content from The Binding of Isaac and its Wrath of the Lamb expansion,
as well as new content that is the same size as the content added with Wrath of the Lamb. It includes a new final
chapter and ending, at least three new playable characters, and "tons more items, rooms, enemies, bosses and the
like." Edmund intends to make the game something that people who played the original would want to play.
