Intellytech has produced a HUGE soft light that I've been calling the "portable window" - it's 300w, about 3ft by 4.5ft, comes with a grid, diffusion, and a frame. It folds into a tiny little package, can be powered by 2 v-mount batteries or AC, and is remote controlled. This is an insanely large light for a small studio like mine - but is really the only option for me if I want to produce the softest light possible. Learn more about Intellytech's lights:
