The fitness world loves making things sound more exclusive than they actually are. You’ve probably heard that you shouldn't even think about plyometrics until you can back squat double your body weight.

While building a solid strength base is important, it’s not an "either/or" situation. You can, and should, progress through plyometrics and strength training at the same time. You just need the right exercises and the right volume for where you’re at.
