E3 but without the 3.
The first in-person E3 in years is being skipped by Sony, Microsoft & Nintendo. At this point we can consider it to be the end of the classical Electronics Expo in the way we knew it. Aka E3 is over.
Well not completely, third-party developers and publishers are still going to be visiting the event, but it's just not the same. Essentially no hardware announcements no ultra mega big budget etc.
Funnily enough Microsoft has announced they are doing a Xbox party just around the corner from E3 at about the same time... so they are not at E3 but still doing stuff around that time.
