This is precisely what the title says. You can use the covered bridge shortcut but quite frankly it's a terrible shortcut, because you need to dodge attacks from 2-5 sorcerers while you run up to the bridge and while you cross it. It's easier to just disable the ball spawner once and then never need to fight anything on your way up to Rennala again.
