Pingyao Ancient City (600 km southwest of Beijing) is China’s most well-preserved city and it is truly a labyrinth of history with the first modern bank of China, China's best-preserved town wall, , an ancient martial arts bodyguard shop and temples full of fascinating class sculptures and much more.
