The Best Way to Seamlessly Join a New Yarn Color in Crochet ❤️🤍❤️

While you can work in the more traditional way of pulling the new color through in the last yarn over of the previous stitch (and I do still use this technique sometimes), I find that doing so in this manner can distort the fabric and disrupt the color change, especially in the round.

For the most seamless color change, after joining the round as normal, yarn over and pull through with the new color, then pull the original color tight, and it will disappear.

As you work, the original color may pop up until it's secured down later, so simply give the strand a tug, and it will disappear again.
