I wasn't expecting to make a "How to Tie a Knot with Thread" tutorial. As is so often the case, when you've been doing something a certain way for a long time, you tend to forget that you ever learned it at all. When I recently had a commenter ask how I knotted my thread because they had seen it before but they hadn't had it explained, I realized it wasn't something I thought about. The next time I had to knot my thread, I went slowly and I realized that, while it might not make a ton of sense if I tried to write out a reply, I could absolutely make a video showing how this is done! (Also, turns out this is called a Quilter's Knot! I learned something while making this!)
