This short the forest review is going to talk about one of the best survival / horror games to come out this year. The forest is a survival game in which following a plane crash you must survive both the elements and horrific cannibals.

The game has many of the usual survival busywork and tropes, however, it's done in a relatively unobtrusive way. The combat is solid and fun, but nothing amazing. The game really shines when you have friends to play it with. The building mechanics are flexible and powerful enough to let you create some really awesome structures and fortifications.

On the whole, I've really been enjoying the game, and would recommend it to anyone with friends to play it with.
