Sonic Before and After the Sequel are widely regarded as one of the best Sonic fangames ever made. It's faithful recreation of the genesis titles, as well as its entirely original stages makes for a fun and nostalgic playthrough for any fans of this franchise.
The music in these games however often go unnoticed or unrmarked on, which is quite the shame, since I believe them to have some of the best soundtracks out of all of Sonic's music library.
