Jhahoua | The Best Solves At CubingUSA Nationals 2016 (ft. cyotheking) @JhahouaRubiks | Uploaded January 2018 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
You read the title right I just looked at the videos from 2016 and this was pretty much all of it. I did also record WCA delegate James Hildreith tightening his megaminx with his fingernail during an official solve at the staff competition, but the puzzle was out of the frame for most of it so you can't really see what he's doing and I didn't want to upload that and have to explain in the video what he was doing as that would have taken too long.
Also I know it wasn't called "CubingUSA Nationals" in 2016 but that's what it's called now and that sounds a lot better than something like "Rubik's cube national championships" as it's organized by CubingUSA and not Rubik's and I wanted people to easily be able to tell this is a cubing video and not something along the lines of fishing nationals. I don't think it's actually called "fishing nationals" but a friend of mine was in the national championships for some type of fishing maybe bass? I hope he's doing well.
Also I know it's not really featuring cyotheking he just makes a very funny joke about team blind and what people sound like when they say something like "good Mario" to get a cube solved. anyway back to the point I mostly just added that to the title so kids would watch and become educated about our family's coach Ryan DeLine & Thunderbeast.
So here are some fun facts about them, Ryan made square 1 finals in 2015 and then the qiyi came out and well he hasn't made it since (DISCLAIMER! the times in the video do not reflect how good Mr. DeLine is at the event). Mark is good at multi blind.
