Powdered fish flakes spread food across glass, plants and sponge filters so tiny Neocaridina shrimplets can graze without competing around one pellet. Mark explains how he prepares the powder, starts with a very small amount, distributes it with the tank's flow and reads the tank for signs of too much or too little food.
This is Mark's practical Neocaridina method, not a fixed dose for every aquarium. Colony size, filtration, oxygen and existing natural food all matter. Start smaller than you think, stop or reduce feeding if water turns cloudy or shrimp become lethargic, and do not copy the same routine into lower-pH Caridina tanks.
