Aliens Dark Descent is just one of those games that makes my brain hurt.
More specifically Aliens Dark Descent is kind of like XCOM 2 if PTSD was a core mechanic that made your soldiers even worse at shooting and if you had to move all your troops around in one giant hoard.
It's a game that is unrelenting in it's capacity to tear apart every last plan you have to the point where you spend 2 hours on each mission.
And THIS is my journey through the wastelands of Aliens Dark Descent done in a new style, but also more of a revamped version of an old style. In other words, this is not quite an aliens dark descent review. But I'll be back to my usual review format in the next one.
