For all of the amazing games and appearances Donkey Kong has had, he hasn't had many opportunities to really shine as a playable character. Some spin-offs play into his importance, but ultimately the first member of the DK Crew is its most basic, showing the game in its simplest, least interesting form for other characters to branch off from. However, the Rabbids game of all things not only gives DK a great playable appearance, it might just be his best appearance period, playing off all of his strengths in gameplay AND personality for a legendary performance.
