The Best Macro Strategist Alive Vs. 81 Questions

Jordi Visser. Live. Thursday, July 9, 2:00 PM ET.

In my opinion Jordi Visser is the best macro strategist in the world — and the only one I know at the intersection that now decides everything: world-class macro judgment and hands-on AI building. He has said he almost never meets another strategist who actually uses AI. An entire profession refusing its own best instrument.

Thursday I put him through eleven acts. Eighty-one questions. Here are eight:
* If AI takes the jobs, who buys the S&P? The 401(k) paycheck flow is the structural bid under American equities — and a UBI check buys groceries, not index funds. Follow the thread to the end: what does capitalism become?
* Money supply grows seven percent a year. The average raise is two or three. That's a silent four-point annual tax on everyone paid in salary. Is that gap — not inequality, not ideology — the real engine of the political rage we're watching?
* Bridgewater packed fifty years of Ray Dalio's decisions into algorithms and built an artificial investor generating alpha by 2024. How long before the machine stops competing with the average PM — and replaces him?
* Every asset on earth: one and a half quadrillion dollars gross. Less than one basis point has ever touched modern liquidity. Biggest arbitrage in financial history — or proof most wealth was never meant to trade?
* The uncomfortable one for my own audience: illiquidity is the family office's edge — the premium harvested, the volatility never marked. If tokenization makes everything liquid, are family offices cheering for the thing that kills their advantage?
* You run money with these tools. Where is your line — what will you never type into someone else's model?
* Jensen Huang's five-layer cake: energy, chips, infrastructure, models, applications. We eat it layer by layer and I want names at every layer. Then: three names, five-year hold, no touching, to beat the QQQ.
* And the one I'd bet nobody has ever asked him: what have you deliberately chosen not to know — because knowing it makes your judgment worse?

The other seventy-three cover Grantham's bubble call, Burry's thousand cuts, Gundlach's recession odds, Griffin's timeline, the Icahn question about 173 employees, open weights versus Anthropic, agents holding wallets, and the family office of 2030.

Conversations like this are why SFO Continuity exists — the questions your advisors aren't asking, put to the people most qualified to answer them. Members get the full library, both living books, and the room where all of it gets built: The AI Family Office Masterclass, August 12–13, NYC.
