76355 Batman Returns Batmobile is releasing in September, and costs slightly less than the previous 76139 1989 Batmobile while containing around a thousand fewer elements in the box, and a single minifigure instead of three.
As nice as the new set looks, it's difficult to judge it by its own merits when, over the past twenty years, the LEGO Group has released over fifty different LEGO Batmobiles. Most (not all) of them are here in this video.
