Since it's debut with 12 characters in Super Smash Bros 64, the series has come a long way. We are all the way up to 82 characters and even more if you count echo fighters. I wanted to take a look at which characters have been the most consistent over the years of Smash. Let's take a quick look at the strength of different characters over the years of competitive Smash bros.
We are not looking at the peak of a character's strength, but instead how consistently a character remains strong.
