Hey CO30, been a while since I ventured into some "deep tech", aaaand the other day someone sent me a total bro-science article about bearing spacers, so I decided to take this opportunity to debunk some myths. Hope it helps!

Point of note--plastic frames generally have the opposite problem as aluminum--wheel rub is a more common problem than wheel wiggle, because plastic flexes more than aluminum. Small spacers designed to basically "stay out of the way" are a solid approach if you struggle more with rub than wiggle.
