What would you say to someone who thinks God is a personal belief in your head and that there’s no way to know if there is a God or not?
Greg and Amy highlight classical arguments for God’s existence, including the cosmological, teleological, and moral arguments, as reasonable paths to knowledge.
Many reject valid methods of knowledge when it comes to God, even though those same methods are trusted in science, history, and everyday life. They assume God does not exist before evaluating the evidence, which leads them to dismiss the possibility of knowing him. This assumption should be questioned and replaced with an open investigation of reality. If God exists, it is reasonable to expect that evidence or reasoning about him would be available. This approach helps shift the discussion from skepticism based on assumption to a fair evaluation of truth claims.
