Donkey Kong has had many design changes over the years. The big ones being the Arcade style, the Game Boy style, Donkey Kong Country style, and Donkey Kong Bananza style... A new monkey for a new Nintendo Switch 2.

In this video, I go over all major designs, and many extras.
I judge these looks based on straight character design, charm, soul, expressiveness, whimsey, and raw gorilla-like nature.
And I yap about brow ridges for about 15 minutes.

This has become a hot button topic, but not for long because people will get used to it. (That's how this stuff works) Then they will redesign DK in 25 years, then people will be mad once again.
