The Authority of the Believer is the restoration of God's original purpose for humanity. Adam lost delegated dominion through disobedience, but Jesus Christ—the Last Adam—recovered it through His death, resurrection, and exaltation. Every believer who is united with Christ has been commissioned as an ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven, entrusted with His authority to proclaim the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, resist the enemy, and demonstrate the reign of God in the earth. Our authority is never independent or self-generated; it flows from our union with Christ and our submission to His lordship. Like the Roman centurion, we exercise authority because we are under authority. As we walk in faith, speak God's Word, and remain yielded to the Holy Spirit, we become living representatives of Heaven, bringing God's rule, peace, truth, and power into a world desperately in need of the King.
