This is the first in my new weekly series of minecraft videos recorded during patch 1.3.1
I have chosen a location near an NPC village to build my base and am testing the trading with villagers as well as giving a quick tour of the base so far. As this is the very beginning and I am quite new to minecraft I am open to suggestions as to what to build and where to build. My girlfriend will be playing as well as 1.3.1 now has the option to open a game to the lan. So far I have not even put a roof on my house but have started building underwater as well as a chicken farm and have also dug down to bedrock.
I would like for this to be as interactive as possible as I am getting quite hooked on Minecraft and can see myself spending hours if not days playing it. The potential for building with redstone just amazes me and everyday I play there seems to be something new to discover.
