The Indie scene, with its freedom to explore some of the wildest ideas in gaming has spawned a ton of weird and kooky ideas for the Racing Games genre, to the point of stretching the definition of what a Racing game can be, touching some of the more expected crowd pleasers with Japanese themed racers, solid nostalgia and immersive cinematic experiences to more ideas of having a survival game, roguelike games and the glorious return of the vehicle combat genre.
