A new remix and remaster of Real Love I did, using the Anthology DVD mix, plus the original John Lennon demo that was used back in 1996 and all subsequent releases until the official 2025 mix.
For years since the remix and remaster I did back in 2019, I had tinkered on doing a better mix now that higher quality extraction tools were available, but it wasn't until the recently released new official mix was unveiled, that I decided to actually do it.
The first day was of remembering and figuring out things again, but from there it was just like the old days.
Although I have my reservations about the new official mix, I don't quite have a negative opinion of it, but wanted to do a mix myself to see what I could do with the material I had available.
Will this be the first step to more stuff or just a one-off? Time and life will only tell.
