To dig into the guitar playing of John, Paul, and George, we called on Jimmy Vivino, longtime member of Conan O'Brien's house band and a guy who's done the deep forensic work of recreating later-period Beatles material with the Fab Faux. Jimmy walks us through the J-160E rhythm parts, the mysteries of George's Leslie tones, Paul's pre-bend signature, the unusual tuning behind "Rain," and the ongoing quest to recreate one of John's nastiest fuzz tones in a pedal.
