A full-circuit POV on the Beast before its April, 1979 grand opening. The Beast featured *3* underground tunnels in its first season; tunnels #2 and #3 have since been connected to form one long tunnel. Also: the helix tunnel had not yet been constructed in this video! It was eventually added after the 1979 operating season. Bonus: vintage TV advert for this now-legendary roller coaster.
