Conservatives have introduced their health care plan if elected, promising to implement activity-based funding, where hospitals will receive funding based on when they treat patients for specific diagnoses and procedures — versus the current model of providing a base pay. Jason Morris, a senior political science instructor at the University of Northern British Columbia, talks about the model.
