Throughout the course of the week, the BBC have announced that they are going to do a TON of book adaptions for BBC One & BBC Two.
Malorie Blackman's NOUGHTS AND CROSSES is coming to BBC One (ALL OF US ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THAT!!! ) - bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2016/noughts-and-crosses
BBC Two is turning Man Booker Prize-winning novel THE LUMINARIES by Eleanor Catton (who is writing the scripts, FYI) into an 6 part series - bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2016/the-luminaries
Announced after Andrew recorded this, Jessie Burton's THE MINIATURIST is coming to BBC One next year as a three parter - bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2016/the-miniaturist
But what Andrew wanted to talk about is the news that the BBC will be making SEVEN new adaptations from the works of Agatha Christie. This will include ORDEAL BY INNOCENCE, DEATH COMES AS THE END & THE ABC MURDERS.
